timeless & elegant, a carnegie museum wedding dream

It’s officially YFK’s second wedding season, and let me tell you, we’re upping our game pretty majorly. And I’m so excited that we were able to debut our upgrades with an incredibly special family wedding. With the gorgeous Carnegie Museum as the backdrop, the classic vibes and timeless aesthetic made this one feel like an absolute dream. Originally wanting black and white signage with gold details, I actually talked the couple into a creamier ivory rather than the bright white. Although this was our first signage suite for the Carnegie, the photos I’ve seen of the interior wedding space over the years showed how warm the space can feel. And rather than the signage completely “pop” with such stark contrast, I just knew that a warmer tone would help the signage blend in as a beautiful enhancement instead of competing with the white dress of the bride (she and the groom are meant to stand out anyway, not the signage).

In regard to the signage component, my favorite part of this wedding was that so many people thought the signage came from another very big and popular vendor in the city. What a compliment for people to think our “small” business is of the same caliber. I realized during that day that this is literally only the 7th wedding we’ve ever done. And to already be receiving those types of affirmations…I’m just really excited and very proud.

I loved tying in the floral detail from the couple’s invitation into the table numbers, welcome sign, and seating chart to give it that “little bit of extra” and hold some continuity. I also adored that we got extra personal and even incorporated their dog into their bar signage for a bit of fun! It’s these types of details that really help make your special day even that much more personal.

We loved this set so much we’re actually making it rentable! This set includes 25 table numbers, a cookie table sign, a guestbook sign, and a cards & gifts sign. Custom bar signage, welcome signs, and setting charts are always available for purchase. Planning your wedding is already stressful (and can feel unsustainable) - why not make it easier with signage rentals that you don’t have to worry about passing off to someone else?

Congratulations again to this incredible couple! And thank you for letting us help make your day even that much more special!
